The Trangie Tigers will play the Molong Magpies this Saturday staring 3.15 pm at the Alan Burns Oval to decide the Central West Rugby Union GrainCorp Northern Division 2016 premiers.

This is following Molong’s narrow 38-36 victory against the Wellington Redbacks in the preliminary final at Wellington last Saturday.
Trangie and Molong have only played each other once during the season.
In that game, played at Trangie, the Tigers were 25 - 5 victors.
The Tigers will rely on their powerhouse scrum, led by Central West representative George Quigley and his fellow front rowers, hooker Chris O’Shea, props Tom Mackinnon and Todd Erickson to try and gain dominance over their opponents.
The Tigers front row relies on the support of its locks Will Michell and Matt Wade who do a power of work throughout the game.
The Tigers backrow is led by NSW Country rep John “Boots” Ellis at number and, Stephen McAnally and Cameron Smith are the two hard working flankers.
The Tigers backline is renowned for its dogged defence and ability to gain territory when in possession. It all starts with experienced half back Richard Flinn giving good quality ball to fly half and team captain Mick Oriel.
The centre combination is the powerful running inside centre Damien Taylor and the fleet of foot outside centre Brenton Montgomery.
The Tigers elusive wingers are Sam Barrett and Lewis Goodman. Tiger’s fullback, Damian Tegart, is an attacking fullback as well as a devastating defender.
The Tigers quality extends to all its reserves that have a played a vital role in getting the Tigers to the grand final.

These players are; Lucas Hamilton, Craig Shibble, Sam Hitchcock, Harley Crawford, Ben Gemmell, Tim Symonds, Stu Rae, Hugh Mackinnon, Hugh McGrath, Aaron Morse, Will Leader, George Youngs and Harry Agnew.
The last grand final to be played in Trangie was in 1997, 19 years ago!
The last Tigers premiership was 1989, 27 years ago!
