At the October meeting the council allocated over $11,500 to community groups throughout the shire.
Council received 23 applications for financial assistance, sponsorship or waiver of fees and charges up until August 12, 2016.
Based on the information the councillors received they decided which groups should receive funding.
The Trangie Soccer Club was given $500 for the purchase of a a shipping container.
The Mudigalang Ladies had 50 per cent of their rates waived as did the Trangie CWA, the Narromine CWA and the Lodge Narromine.
Narromine Little Athletics received the most funding at $1,00 for line marking paint and sandpit maintenance.
The Narromine Generosity Church received $50 for oval hire and power.
St Augustine’s I HEART Art show received a $250 contribution.
One thousand dollars was allocated to the Rotary Club for assistance in advertising and maintenance of the Narromine Wetlands.
Narromine Women’s Shed were allocated $1000 for cost or rent and public liability insurance.
The council also moved $500 be allocated to each town in the shire for Australia Day celebrations and $100 to each school for their annual presentations.
The council allocated $1500 to the Mungery Hall Committee for maintenance, $1000 to Narromine Cricket Club for curator fees and $350 to the Western Region Academy of Sport.
