The yarding of just 6500 sheep attracted a large crowd and drafts went to Wagga Wagga Grenfell, Forbes, Quambone, Guyra and local areas.
First cross ewes ranged in price from $160 to $254 while Merino ewes sold from $130 to $185.
Christie and Hood’s Tim Wiggins, Narromine, said the sale was very strong.
“It was a well-represented yarding of good quality sheep which met wide demand from throughout the state. First cross ewes could have made $50 above other suctions earlier in the week,” he said.
Due to a technical error, last week’s sheep report was incorrect.
