Among these students is Frances Orman, a Narromine girl who went to boarding school at Mackillop in Bathurst and achieved a sensational 96 ATAR, putting her in the top four per cent of the state.
Miss Orman will be hoping to qualify for a bachelor of economics and a bachelor of arts at the University of Sydney this year.
Miss Orman was delighted and surprised to find out her hard work had paid off last month when she received her results.
“I studied Economics, Legal Studies, Modern History, Extension History, Advanced English and Studies of Religion,” she said.
She sai she is looking forward to the prospects of university life.
