The Trangie Tigers have donated $5700 to the Trangie Community Connection (TCC) to assist in their efforts to build a respite centre in Trangie. The TCC are in the process of finalising the purchase of the Anglican Church.

They are also applying for funds to build the much-needed respite centre for the community. The funding bodies work on a dollar for dollar basis, so all money raised by TCC will be matched by the Federal Government if their grant application is successful.
“TCC have come a long way with the planned respite centre but still has a long way to go. We thank the Trangie Tigers and all the organisations and community members who have supported this project,” TCC treasurer Chris Welch said.
Trangie Tigers Secretary Sarah Press said the team are keen to support local charities when possible.
