The Australian Heritage Festival provides the opportunity for everybody to join in and celebrate Australia’s historic, natural and Aboriginal heritage during May.
Also during the month of May, Library and Information Week is celebrated to raise the profile of libraries and information services.
This gives them the opportunity to showcase their resources, facilities, events, contacts and services. In acknowledgement of these two special events,
The Narromine Family & Local History room will be holding an ‘Open House’ on May 22, 24 and 26 from 11am to 4pm.
Everyone is encouraged to come along and see what hidden treasures the room has to offer.
The history room is located in the Narromine Library building. All welcome no need to book.
National Law Week: will be held from May 15 to 21 and is held to promote public understanding of the law and its role in society.
