Narromine Aviation Museum (NAM) volunteer Peter Kierath said due to a number of reasons the number of volunteers at the museum is depleting.
“We currently have 35 and most of them do three hours a month,” he said.
Mr Kierath said the team are hoping to get people interest in the museum and interested in promoting local tourism.
“You can be as involved as you want to be. You can collect money at the entrance or you can give guided tours,” he said.
“You don’t need to be an aviation enthusiast.”
Mr Kierath said that it’s a great way to stay social and be involved in the community.
Prospective members are invited to afternoon tea at the museum on the first Tuesday of the month at 2.30pm.
Call Peter (6889 444) Bob (6889 7378) or Ted (0428 915 856) for more information.
