The league tag girls kicked off trhe day by running out in their beanies.
Unfortunately the Jets beanies didn’t arrive in time, so all proceeds of the Jets beanies sold on the day went to brain cancer and after their game, the ladies went around taking donations from spectators.
The Jets had a disappointing week at home against the Nyngan Tigers.
First grade saw a lot of points made, but unfortunately the boys went down 24 to 44.
Try scorers were Paul Widders, Dane Cox, Corey Cox and EJ Fernando. Cox converted all tries. Reserve grade saw the Jets score in the first two minutes, but were unable to stay on top of the Tigers, who won 46 to 22.
Tries were scored by Tyson Eastment, Mick Burns, Troy McCarney and Dwayne Anderson. Conversions made by Mick Burns.
Under 18s went down 48 to 16. The ladies went down 32 to 18.
