The Daily Liberal reported last week on the chance the Group 11 grand final could be moved to a location other than Caltex Park this year after the competition’s board sent out an email to its clubs requesting information on council costs to stage the competition’s flagship day.
“There’s every chance (the final could move) and clubs are now discussing options so we can know the facts,” Group 11 operations manager Paul Loxley said at the time.
Fairfax Media ran a poll on the issue and the results are in, with only just more than half favouring the grand final being played at the home ground of the major semi-final winner.

As of Monday afternoon, 57.4% of all votes submitted were in favour of that option while 42.6% stated Caltex Park was the best ground in the competition and deserved to hos the biggest match of the year.
