Driverless tractors, drones and savvy spreaders are all on the agenda at Wednesday's free Precision Agriculture Field Day at the Trangie Agricultural Research Centre.

The field day run from 9am to around 1pm will discuss technology with farmers and show them commercially viable products in the industry already, including the driverless tractor.
“We’ve got one here to show everyone,” TOCAL College Precision Agronomy Lecturer Matt Notley said.
Mr Notley said they’re looking at showing the precision agriculture program for farmers.
“We’ve also got a drone capable of NDVI maps showing yield data and soil data indicating trends of highs and lows in paddock and we have a few people talking,” he said.
