The Gilgandra trip was finalised with payment due next meeting. Gilgandra garden Club have invited us to have morning tea with us on the day.
President Jean handed out flyers to members on Salvias for every garden which was of great interest.
Plans being collected for the Dunnedoo Bush Fire victims to be at President Jean’s home before September 12.
A trip to the Wellington Open Gardens is being organised on October 22, Langley’s Bush Company is organising the trip.
Gerald Cahill our guest speaker at the last meeting is willing to return and continue the very interesting video on soils. The Horti ladies Judy and Sue had the club spellbound with the video of all the beautiful garden creations.
The raffle was won by Judy Jones.
The August meeting has changed location, the gathering will take place at the Anglican Church at 9.45am to travel in cars to Ginny Mather’s garden “Carimar” on the Dubbo Narromine Road for morning tea and our meeting on to the Japanese Gardens in Dubbo, please bring a chair, lunch and a drink.
