Last Wednesday a field of 12 hardy golfers competed in the weekly Gerries nine hole stableford competition at Royal Narromine. The course was pretty dry with lots of run however did benefit from some rain which fell early in the week.

Winner on the day was Ross King with a very good round of 24 points. Malcolm Fraser was the runner up with 23 points. Congratulations both these golfers on some great golf.
Only one pool comp match between Gus Smith and Mal Richardson against Terry Willis and Norm Lewis. The match was very competitive with Lewis and Willis looking to have the game in hand when unfortunately Willis fouled on the black giving victory to Smith and Richardson.
The Tottenham Vets Open is now on Thursday August 10 and Mendooran Vets Open has be cancelled for this year. There is a Vets Two Ball Regional Championship at Dubbo on August 11 and we have been advised visiting players will be permitted to take carts to Dubbo to compete in these events.
