Since completing Year 12 at the High School, local Narromine students from the class of 2016 have begun their post school journey.
Majority of the class gaining employment or securing university or TAFE placements at this point in time.
Sophie Walker and Zoe Harding were both accepted into UNE for nursing. Sophie has commenced her studies while Zoe is taking a GAP year.
Kane Walsh has commenced his tertiary studies at Newcastle University, where he is studying Mechatronics whilst Rex Brown, also at Newcastle University, is completing a Newstep pathway program and hopes to get into a Music course.
Megan Willoughby has commenced a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Canberra and Maddi Brennan is studying Marine Biology at Southern Cross University in Lismore.
Lily Spackman is taking a GAP year from studying a Bachelor of Educational Studies at CSU Bathurst.
Gabi Ryan secured a position in the Navy as an aircraft technician and will begin her training at HMAS Cerberus in Melbourne, while Brad Simmons is completing a Diploma of Aviation at Basair Aviation College.
Lana Monaghan has commenced her traineeship at Narromine Preschool; Abbey Quarmby is combining full time work and study at Coolabah Kids in Walgett. Sophie Reid is also working in childcare.
William Coleman is combining work and a personal training course whilst he waits to pursue his career in the Defence Force.
Sam Little Hales is studying at Tocal Ag College, whilst Michael Weldon is combining a TAFE course in construction with work.
A number of students have been employed locally including Kimberly Grinsell, Donovan Uys, Kane Tonkin, Haylea McManus.
