The sale was on property and offered through the Auctions Plus website, and all lots were owned by local breeders.
Over 5250 first Border Leicester Merino Cross Ewes were sold grossing $947,625 averaging $180.33.
Nic Woods reported buyers were focusing on the tops of ewes through the auction.
Two thousand, one hundred and fifty five one year old ewes sold from $180 to a top price of $233 for a 25 July/August drop, August shorn. From the Masonwells Family sold to a buyer in Crookwell.
Mr Woods reported buyers from the Central West slopes, Southern Tablelands, Ballarat Victoria and Port Adelaide South Australia. The NFX Sheep Breeders Association conducted this sale in conjunction with the Narromine Shire Agents on Auctions Plus.
