Julie and James Rae of Raeburn Pastoral, Narromine, dispersed they Angus herd at Dubbo store cattle sale last Friday of 121 cows with calves and 46 PTIC cows averaging $1841.
Forty-five of the second-calver cows with calves at foot topped at $2025 a unit with 121 units averaging $1944.
46 PTIC cows (red taggers) topped at $1660 and averaged $1572.

Fairfax columnist and auctioneer Bill Tatt said the cattle market has enjoyed a lift.
“The cattle market is also enjoying a resurgence in prices since the good rains were received over much of the pastoral regions,” he said.
Last sales of 2017
The last prime cattle sale will be on Thursday, December 14 , final store cattle sale on Friday, 15.
And the end of the year will see a prime sheep sale on Monday, December 18 2017.
