Playgroup is all about creative and unstructured learning through play.
Narromine playgroup is very fortunate to have plenty of outdoor activities to help children build their social networks.
Swings, a slide and cubby house, sandpit, bikes, scooters, dolls, prams, trucks, as well as craft are just some of the activities on offer.
It’s a great opportunity not just for the kids, but parents as well to socialise and meet new friends in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Children aged from 0-6 and their parents or carers’ are welcome to attend the open day during National playgroup week on Tuesday,March 20 from 10am until 12pm.
The fortnight following, on Tuesday, April 3 the playgroup will celebrate Easter with an Easter egg hunt for children.
If you don’t have children or are unable to attend, you can still support the local community group and their fundraising efforts.
The playgroup will set up a Cake Stall Fundraiser outside Coles on Saturday April 14, go along to purchase some homemade treats.
The group are also currently running a raffle, tickets available from playgroup members and at the cake stall, the winner will be drawn on the day.
There are two prize packs to be won with donations including items from The Narromine Hotel, Soul Food Design Depot, Style 33 Boutique, Macquarie Clothing, Sarah Reynen Tupperware consultant and Reading Cinemas.
Playgroup is held each Tuesday at the rear of the Narromine Masonic Lodge 41 Merilba Street, Narromine (opposite Treseders).
