It was well into the first half before the first points where scored courtesy of a penalty goal to the Magpies. The Tiger’s scrum had their opponents under consistent pressure and it was from this relentless pressure the Tiger’s scored the game’s first try by replacement forward Sam Renneberg.
The Tiger’s showed early dominance at the beginning of the second half and were able to extend their lead via two penalty goals to hooker Chris O’Shea.
The Tiger’s put the result beyond doubt with penalty try following several scrums on the Molong try line.
As expected the Molong team never stopped trying and were rewarded with a late converted try.
Next Saturday the Tigers are at home for most likely their last home game of the season against the second place Geurie Goats.
