41 children’s toys were found to be non-compliant during this year’s survey. Those non-compliant children’s products have now been removed from store shelves in the lead-up to Christmas 2017 and enforcement action will follow. Dozens of dangerous toys – including a jumbo tentacle ball at Dubbo – have been ordered off the shelves as part of NSW Fair Trading’s annual Christmas toy safety blitz.
