Adele Hawke of Adele's Salon & Skin Clinic had the pleasure of meeting Priscilla Presley when she was in Australia on her Elvis and Me tour.
“It was a wonderful evening,” Adele said.
“It will never happen again.”
Adele, who had a VIP ticket which included a personal meet and greet with the original first lady of Rock n Roll, said Priscilla was so beautiful and so down to earth.
“She greeted you, she shook your hand, she asked your name, she is just a lovely person,” she said.
“There are no airs or graces about her.”
Adele spoke to the 72-year-old about the Parkes Elvis Festival.
“She’s heard of the festival, she has been invited every year,” Adele said.
Adele is looking forward to this year’s Miss Priscilla competition on Thursday.
There is an official Miss Priscilla Dinner after which the winner performs formal duties through the festival.
