Another year has come and gone and I’m still here: along with some new faces in town, but there were a few who were missing from the family Christmas table.
As an outsider looking in, I would like to put a few thoughts on paper. When I first came to Trangie, a delightful family who live on Bimblebox Lane allowed me to take up residence on their property.
That kind act almost convinced me to stay; then one blisteringly hot day I was walking into town when a green 4WD stopped and offered me a lift; I thought I’d like to stay in this town and the ‘clincher’ – in November, 2017, I was lucky enough to marry the love of my life – 48 years late is better than not at all!
So, thanks Trangie, for being a great place to live – thanks to the people who say ‘G’day’; to the workers who keep the place clean and neat; to the NSW Police who keep us safe; to the many people who were once acquaintances but now are friends – thank you.
To the business owners – I hope 2018 is a prosperous year for you and to everyone in Trangie, a safe, happy and healthy year.
T.T.F.N.
