J.R Richards has released recycling figures for the first quarter of 2018 (January to March) in relation to quantities of paper, mixed glass, mixed plastic and steel and aluminium.
Residents of the Narromine Shire that are receiving a kerb side waste collection, recycled a total of approximately 100,000 kilograms of recyclable products during January, February and March 2018.
“It is great to see residents supporting the recycling collection,” Narromine Shire Council general manager Jane Redden said.
“With the introduction of a third bin our figures for general waste will continue to decrease.
“Residents are encouraged to continue to recycle their household products, not only from the kitchen but across the entire house.”
