Almost $12 million will be spent on capital works projects and a strong focus on progressing major economic projects are among the highlights of Narromine Shire Council’s draft Delivery Program and Operations Plan. The draft operational plan, which incorporates the Council’s budget and fees and charges for the financial year July 2018 to June 2019, outlines activities to be undertaken by Council over the next financial year.
Major capital works from the Operations Plan include: delivery of pool upgrades in Trangie and Narromine, installation of CCTV to Narromine CBD, main street works to Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley, maintenance work to local and regional roads, upgrade to Tom Perry Drive and Aerodrome Industrial subdivision.
The documents are available to view at council offices, the Narromin and Trangie library and the Tomingley BP Fuel Station. Submissions can be made to the General Manager or emailed to mail@narromine.nsw.gov.au prior to 5pm June 6.
