Trangie Action Group ‘Shop-n-Win’ is on again as the festive season approaches

With more than half the year gone and Christmas on the horizon, members of Trangie Action Group (TAG) are again lining up for the annual Christmas party.

Billed as a family oriented event with the emphasis on fun for all, this year’s party will be held at the Trangie USMC on Saturday, December 8 from 6pm.

Over the years the Trangie Action Group has made a vast contribution to the community with funds raised locally.

The Christmas Party is less of a fund-raiser and more of an opportunity for families to enjoy a night out prior to the festive season.

The ever popular ‘Shop-n-Win’, which gives local shoppers the opportunity to win up to $750 in vouchers, will again be a big feature.

Santa may make a visit to the younger community members, while the chocolate wheel will provide players with the opportunity to win a Christmas ham.

Other attractions are still in the planning process but be assured this year’s event will be every bit as appealing as past years.

Community involvement is welcome and TAG would like to hear from anyone who has any ideas or suggestions that could contribute to the success of this event.

Members are reminded that the AGM will be held at Trangie Bowling Club at 6pm on Wednesday September 5.
