For all those keen on sewing, quilting, embroidery, knitting, crocheting and everything in between, there are plenty of different categories in the Fancy Work section where you can enter your creations. With the entries starting to make their way into the pavilion, it’s great to see the varied talents within the Narromine community on display and juniors were especially encouraged to enter this year.

Another great year for the cooking is also warming up. Whispers are being heard that ovens have been turned on already, perfecting the final touches of the secret methods of the Blue-Ribbon winners. One very exciting new addition this year in the cooking section, is the ‘Tart’ of the Show with sweet tart, any flavour, pastry bottom case categories available.

These entries may be entered in the name of another person, preferably with permission, and it is largely encouraged that all competitors try their hand at this section whether male or female. A sash will be awarded to the winner, to be worn on show day. So please look up some fabulous new recipes to try, don’t forget your old tried and true, and bring them all in on the Friday morning by 9.30am, as judging will commence at 10am.
