Guest speaker was Annette Ryan, a recent traveller to Poland and daughter of former resident Jenny McRae.
Annette proved to be a lively entertainer, and kept members and guests enthralled with a presentation of scenic images and a very interesting verbal account of her travels, dispelling any myths about Poland as an unappealing country to visit.

A surprise for Trangie CWA members came in the form of a Sydney based club, the Pioneer Timber Cutters and Machinery Club, who en route to South Australia stayed overnight in Trangie and presented our local branch with a cheque for $500 to be used for drought relief.
Secretary Pat Riley received the cheque on behalf of the branch and a decision on how best to use the money will be decided at the next branch meeting.
Members are reminded that a street stall will be held on November 2 and that the Annual General meeting will be held on October 11.
