The opening of the pool was delayed by one week due to plumbing issues that have now been resolved.
Narromine Shire Council’s General Manager Jane Redden said the Trangie Aquatic Centre has undergone major upgrades over the winter season.

“Works include kiosk renovations and asbestos removal, re-concreting around the pools, resealing and painting of the pool and general landscaping,” Ms Redden said.
“The upgrades to the centre have improved the aesthetics and compliance for Trangie residents,” she said.
Council will be hosting a free entry day on Saturday, October 13 from 11am until 2pm for Trangie Residents.
“The free entry is to thank the Trangie residents for their patience while works were finalised,” Narromine Shire Mayor Craig Davies said.
The Trangie Aquatic Centre opening hours are:
- Monday – Friday: 2pm – 6pm
- Weekends: 10am – 6pm
