This event began to encourage the Trangie community to support local businesses by shopping locally.
The donations from businesses go towards the prizes handed out at the TAG Christmas event.
Entry tickets will be available at supporting businesses for you to collect from November 1.
Entrants need to attach $50 worth of receipts from the supporting businesses to your entry ticket and place it in an envelope and into one of the boxes located at IGA, Caltex Trangie, Ewe Two on Dandaloo, Trangie Pharmacy and Trangie Newsagency.
Supporting businesses include: A & L Janhsen Spraying Services, Allaglow Electrical, Andrew Peadon Agencies, Andy’s Warehouse, Bev’s Coffee Shop, Caltex Trangie, Christies Accountants and Advisors, Delta Ag, DJ’s Mini Loader and Tipper Hire, Elders Trangie, Ewe Two on Dandaloo, D & T Ferrari, Trangie Hotel Motel, Hamilton’s Pride, Jason McCutcheon Transport, Joe McCutcheon Earthmoving and Transport, Jordan Gillespie Welding and Transport, Ken Hilder Transport and Engineering, Mark Gleeson Construction, Milgate’s Trangie Transport, Narromine Shire Council, Paul Milgate Transport, Regional Australia Bank, Sassy Style Hairdressing, Trangie Bakery, Trangie Bowling Club, Trangie Butchery, Trangie Caravan Park, Trangie Livestock and Property, Trangie Local Aboriginal Land Council, Trangie Mix It, Trangie Newsagency, Trangie Pharmacy, Trangie United Services Memorial Club, Trangie Shearing and Trangie IGS plus Liquor.
The prizes will be drawn at the TAG Christmas party which will start at 5.30pm on Saturday, December 8 at the Trangie United Services Memorial Club.
A barbecue will be provided by the Trangie Lions Club and tickets will be available in the chocolate wheel for your chance to win hams, pork, prawns or open vouchers which can be spent at any participating business this year.
Four Shop and Win draws of $250 in local shopping vouchers will take place at 7pm, 7.30pm, 8pm, 8.30pm and the major draw of $750 in local shopping vouchers will take place at 9pm.
There will be plenty of activities for the family including a visit from Santa Claus at 8pm, a display in Aboriginal dance and music, a footy throwing competition, floss dance competition, tattoos and raffles just to name a few.
This is a great event to wind up the end of another busy year and the TAG welcome all families in the local community to this event
The group also pass on a huge thank you to the businesses that support this event each year.
