Each year CWA selects a country for study, and primary students are invited to research this country and prepare posters depicting its features, cultural, religious, economic, historic and geographic.
ALSO MAKING NEWS:
This year’s country of study was Poland and branch members were impressed by the interest, enthusiasm and attention to detail shown by all entrants.
The posters were judged by Mr Greg O’Mally, who congratulated the children on the high standard of their work, commenting on the degree of difficulty this presented for judging.
Year 5 and 6: Phoebe Ferrari, Simon Kinsey and Angus Dugan from St John’s.
Year 3 and 4: Jock Kater from St Johns, Carmen Su from Trangie Central and Hannah Peadon from St John’s.
Highly Commended went to Seth Heckendorf and Coby Delboux from St John’s.
