Orana Mid-Western Police have arrested a 33-year-old male for a number of break and enter and stealing offences at Narromine and Trangie.

On Thursday, February 7, members of the Orana Mid-Western Target Action Group and the Orana Region Enforcement Squad found and arrested the male at a Jones Circuit address in Narromine.
Further police investigations linked the male to a series of break and enters and stealing offences at businesses in Narromine and Trangie.
The offender has been charged with two counts of entering enclosed lands with intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of housebreaking implements, convicted offender armed with intent to commit serious indictable offence, four counts of aggravated break, enter and commit serious indictable offence, possession of ammunition without permit, goods custody suspected of being stolen or unlawfully obtained and six warrants.

He has been refused bail and is expected to face Dubbo Local Court.
Orana Mid-Western Police District Superintendent Peter McKenna said the arrest of this male follows numerous investigations and evidence gathered by Narromine Police.
“Upon being identified he has been a key suspect in a number of offences police acted very swiftly to locate and arrest this man,” Superintendent McKenna said.
“We’re very pleased to have cleared up a number of break and enters and stealing offences from the Narromine and Trangie areas."
