Rival NRL clubs may have begun circling,but Brisbane coach Anthony Seibold has shut down speculation they are shopping around Alex Glenn, saying the veteran back-rower isn't going anywhere.

Seibold said he was forced to approach Glenn this week and assure the former New Zealand international that he was a valued player after a Nine Network report claimed the Broncos wanted to offload him before the June 30 deadline.
Seibold revealed there had been interest from NRL rivals about the off-contract 30-year-old.
But the Brisbane mentor hinted that contract extension talks would start soon for the 240-game Bronco, describing him as a much needed role model for his young pack.
"I wanted to shut that down straight away because it is never nice hearing that," Seibold said of the speculation.
"It certainly wasn't the case. I don't want him to go anywhere.
"Alex wouldn't be in our leadership group and starting in our back-row if we were trying to shop him around."
Glenn took to social media to address the speculation once the report broke.
"There's been a few headlines getting around in regards to myself and these rumours that continue to be reported of me being pushed out of the club," he posted on Instagram.
"I just wanted everyone to know from myself that it ain't true.
"We don't know where this story has come from but here I am putting these rumours to bed!"
Seibold did not expect the speculation to affect Glenn in Thursday night's NRL clash with St George Illawarra.
"It (speculation) was a strange one for me but I wanted to make sure he understood where we were at - he understood straight away," he said.
Seibold hinted at starting contract extension talks with Glenn soon.
"We haven't had any recruitment or retention meetings since after Christmas ... that will happen over the next couple of weeks," he said.
Seibold said Glenn's retention was vital with the likes of young back-rowers David Fifita and Jaydn Su'A now under his wing.
"He has played more than 200 games, he has played in a grand final, played Test match football. He is an integral part of our leadership group," Seibold said.
"It is important to have those guys around the group and act as role models through their actions and how they do things."
