A male driver has avoided serious injury after his car was crushed in Narromine on Friday afternoon.

About 4pm Friday afternoon Narromine police, Fire and Rescue and Ambulance attended Third Avenue in Narromine after two cars collided.
The 35-year-old driver of one vehicle was conveyed to Narromine Hospital, but later transferred to Dubbo Base Hospital as a precaution for spinal and neck injuries.
Police allege from preliminary investigations that one of the drivers has failed to give way.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and urge anyone who witnessed the accident to contact Narromine Police on 6889 1444.
