Sixty ex-students and teachers from Trangie Central School's classes of 1955, 1956 and 1957 have celebrated their Old School Bell reunion.

Organiser of the event Colin Rule said the weekend was a "huge success" with dinner being served under the stars.
"With lots on phone calls, emails and social media hits and after 18 months of planning we managed to round up our class mates who started at Trangie Central School in the 50s," he said.
On Saturday, April 6 at about 2pm everyone gathered for a meet and greet over a coffee, followed by an official welcome at 5pm.

"A sit down, extraordinarily delicious spit roast dinner was served around 6.30pm followed by sweets a little later," Mr Rule said.
"Complements flowed to chef Andrew Cayzer who owns the Caravan Park with wife Deb. They were wonderful hosts to us all."
Mr Rule said after dinner the clebrations started with a special welcome to one of their original teachers Mr John Downing, followed by a 'remember when' with stories from the past.
"This went on around a beautiful old camp fire till the wee hours," he said.
Sunday began with a 'walk down memory lane' tour through Trangie Central School hosted by principal Anne Holden and husband Andy.
"We had a gathering of around forty plus for the school tour and yes we did take a group photo of us all around the Old School Bell.
"This was followed by a beautifully prepared morning tea of fresh scones with homemade blackberry jelly and cream."
Mr Rule thanked all who attended and made it a memorable weekend renewing past friendships.
He also said after all costs were covered for the weekend, the group were able to give a $1145 donation to the school to show their appreciation of their time at Trangie.
