Thousands of people are expected to make their way to the Dubbo Showground over three days to attend the annual Show this weekend. Admission tickets can be pre-purchased online through 123tix for $13, compared with $15 at the gate.
Jets take on the Tigers
Narromine, May 26
The Narromine Jets will be taking flight at Cale Oval this Sunday when they take on the mighty Nyngan Tigers. League tag kicks off at 11am followed by the U/18's, reserve grade and then first grade. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
Burrendong Arboretum Guided Tours
Mumbil May, 26
The Burrendong Botanic Gardens and Arboretum will host a set of free, guided tours. Taking place on the fourth Sunday of every month until November, participants will take an hour long tour of the botanical gardens' grounds between 1pm to 3pm and experience the vibrant colours, shapes and smells of some of unique flora.
Hot Air Balloon Festival

Book and car boot sale

Come along to the Wellington uniting Church on Arthur Street to find a 'preloved' book to read or set up your own car boot full of no longer needed treasures and items for people to buy. It costs $15 to book your own car boot spot.
Wedding Open Day

Ready, set, run
Narromine, May 25
The event takes place each Saturday morning at 8am, and participants can walk, jog or run five kilometres. The voluntary-run event is free, but participants must register before their first run. If you would like to find out more or wish to register please visit www.parkrun.com.au
