The Family Health Centre strives to provide a high and continuing improving standard of care to the people of Narromine and surrounding communities.
With so many smaller towns in the area without GP's it is comforting to know the town have regular doctors and registrars that want to come to Narromine for their training.
Dr Sam Wakista, Dr Neil McCarthy, Dr Niro Wickramasinghe and Dr Allison Vincent provide excellent supervision and training for practising doctors.
Narromine Shire Family Health Centre has nurses' available who work alongside our doctors and visiting allied health services including a podiatrist, diabetic educator and dietitian. These can be booked through reception staff.
Western NSW LHD at Narromine hospital provides 24-hour emergency care, their Community Nurses, Early Childhood nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Physiotherapist and allied health workers all work in conjunction with the Medical Centre to provide healthcare to Narromine and surrounding communities.
Narromine Shire Family Health Centre opens from 9-5pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 9-11:30am (for acute and patients working during the week).
Morning appointments are walk in only and cannot be booked over the phone. Afternoon appointments can be booked on any weekday.
