The Wellington Redbacks senior rugby club will be hosting a sponsors and Old Boys day this Saturday. This will be a great day out for the local and wider community and everyone is encouraged to rally the girls and boys together for a fantastic day of rugby. The vent is being held at Bicentennial Park.
WIN Duck Creek Picnics
Nyngan, July 6
The annual Duck Creek Picnic races are back to make a splash once again for 2019. On Saturday July 6, people from all over NSW will 'flock' to Nyngan for what is one of the biggest social events in the entire region. For the punter there is a six race program, promising not to be lame. Those eager for the entertainment Jon Stevens will be the headline act supported by the Legless Pedestrians and the 2018 Toyota Star Maker winner Brad Cox. And for the fashionista the fashions on the field are not to be missed, with special guest judge, Kate Griffiths owner of Lazy Sunday Lifestyle in Dubbo. Charity ball
Dubbo, July 6
Members from Dubbo Emergency Services including NSW Police, NSW Ambulance, NSW Fire Brigade and Dubbo Hospital Staff have arranged a local charity ball that encourages networking, connection, healing, communication and engagement in an extraordinary setting. The event is being held at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre from 5:30pm.
Cooking class
Mudgee, July 7
Join the The Little Cooking School this Sunday for its Master Pasta Class where participants will create fresh pasta. The class is being held at 6 Henry Lawson Drive Mudgee from 10am to 1:30pm. Tickets are available online or in person at Mudgee Visitor Information Centre. Cost is $95pp + $1 booking fee
Glenn McGrath to open nets
Narromine, July 6
The Glenn McGrath Cricket Nets have recently been redeveloped, in plenty of time for the 2019-2020 cricket season. The nets at Dundas Park will be formally opened by Glenn McGrath himself on July 6. People are invited to come along for a free cricket skills clinic run by Cricket NSW, followed by a free barbecue lunch to celebrate the opening of the nets from 2pm.

The Rhino Lodge will be hosting Sunday Sessions on the first Sunday of each monthThe special guest at this weekend's event will be performer Jason Hill. The event will begin approximately 12pm.

After being postponed from its original June date, the Wellington Pony Club Camp will see riders from near and far travel to learn the many skills of horsemanship at the Geurie Showground.
