On Sunday, June 30 a sunny day brought members of the community out to the Mungery hall for the annual day which aims to raise money for the Narromine Cancer Support Group.
Jenny Newbigging said it was a "beautiful day" which helped raise $4942 for the local community group which supports local people who receive a cancer diagnosis and have to leave town for treatment.
All money raised for the group stays within the shire to help local people.
"Everyone we spoke to thoroughly enjoyed a day out with country hospitality," Mrs Newbigging said.
"A big thank you to Brennos Hot Bake and Enza Zaden for their kind donations.
"Thank you to those who came out to the day and all our wonderful helpers, we couldn't do this with out you."
Mrs Newbigging said the Mungery ladies look forward to doing it all again next year.
