Narromine Turf Club secretary Nicola Craft said it's sure to be a great day of racing this Sunday in the six-race program.
"As always, the trainers will enjoy one of the most consistently outstanding tracks in the west of NSW," she said.
"With recent rare, but small rainfall, the course will be looking fresh and in great condition for a winter track."
One to watch in this year's $37,000 Narromine Gold Cup (1600m) is last start winner Mr Dumont.
The gelding was at least six lengths clear of the field at 600m in his first start for Dubbo trainer Kody Nestor at Batthurst on July 29.
Ridden by Jake Pracey-Holmes Mr Dumont then kicked strongly soon after straightening and held his rivals at bay to record a near two-length victory.

Ms Craft said they are expecting quite a crowd this year, with something available for everyone.
"We're aiming to create a fun family day out, so we've placed children high on the priority list to offer parents a relaxing day," she said.
"We will have heated gazebos to beat the winter chill, the Narromine junior jets will be entertaining the children with a free kids zone including a jumping castle, face painting, building blocks, tattoos, playdough and colouring in."
Of course the highlight of the day will be the ladies winter fashions.
"This year the Turf Club have outdone themselves with a prizes valued over $1200, with a girls getaway weekend at the Fairmont resort and spa in the blue mountains," Ms Craft said.
"You have to be in it to win it."
There will be live entertainment by Sam Coon and there will be a full bar, food and coffee van.
Featuring in the six-race program this year is the Eagan and Walsh memorial races.
"It is a perfect excuse to being the family down for the day and join the fun," Ms Craft said.
