A message from Bill Gibbs, Narromine Agricultural (Show) Society president:
Welcome to the 2019 Narromine Agricultural Show.
The committee have been working hard to put together our 114th show for the last 12 months.
This is not an event that comes together overnight, it requires a great deal of dedication from a number of hard-working volunteers and the ongoing support of our sponsors and the Narromine Shire Council.
I would personally like to take this opportunity to thank the 2019 committee and previous committees for their dedication to bringing the Narromine Show together each and every year.
A very special mention to our immediate past secretary Jenny Ballhausen. Thank you for your dedication to the Narromine Show, your experience and knowledge is invaluable, and we greatly appreciate your continued support.
Thank you to our new secretary, Cassie Brewer, for stepping up and taking on this very important role, we know that you will do a great job. Another special mention must go to our current treasurer Craig Roberts, who has continued his service to the committee despite moving away from the district.
2019 has unfortunately seen the drought conditions continue for our region and many other parts of the country.
It is essential during these difficult times that we come together as a community and focus on the positives while ensuring that we support each other in these difficult circumstances.
The dry times have unfortunately resulted in some towns cancelling their annual show.
We are very fortunate in Narromine to have a supportive local community and council to ensure that the 2019 Narromine Show was able to go ahead.
Let's hope 2020 will bring rain and better times for the Narromine Shire.

We are excited to reveal our new logo this year.
The Narromine Show Committee worked with local designer, Emma Barrett, to develop a fresh new logo that represents both the Narromine Shire and Show Society which will hopefully stand the test of time.
In conjunction with our new logo we are working towards improving our new website, thanks to the help of Laura Gibson. Please be sure to check it out.
The show community take this opportunity to reflect on the passing of past committee member Keith Hayden.
Keith dedicated many years to the photography section of the show, and we pass on our deepest sympathies to the Hayden family.
Narromine was well represented at the 2019 Royal Agricultural Show. Meta Nolan again represented Narromine in the fruit cake section and Kevin and Robyn Galley received second place in the fine/medium skirted merino fleece class.
Congratulations to the 2019 Narromine Showgirl Committee for putting together a very successful competition and show ball.
Thank you to all entrants and congratulations to the 2019 Narromine Showgirl winner, we wish you the best of luck in the 2020 showgirl competition.
It is pleasing to see such support from our local youth.
Welcome to the 2019 Narromine Agricultural Show, we hope that you have an enjoyable day. Please remember that your participation in the show makes for a successful event.
