All of these guns act as fourth back-rowers for their respective sides and were just outstanding throughout 2019, but five must become one for the final side.
Have your say by voting for one of these nominees, or add your own.
1 DARRYL HEMOPO (Cootamundra Tri-Colours)
Simply, he was huge in the Tri-Colours' undefeated Oilsplus Cup South-West Division title win.
Was in the mix for player-of-the-year although he did ultimately just miss out on that individual accolade, and was on Blue Bulls coach Dean Oxley's radar leading into the country championships too.
No doubt he'll be in the mix for next year's Blue Bulls side too if he's still in Cootamundra, because he was a huge reason for the Tri-Colours' resurgence.
2 CHARLIE HENLEY (Orange Emus)
Took the Blowes Clothing Cup by storm after linking with Emus from Woollahra Colleagues in round four.
Grand final defeat obviously wasn't how he wanted to end his maiden season with the greens, but he firmly stamped his authority as one of the best - if not the best - hooker in the region in an outstanding season individually.
If he's not on the Central West and potentially NSW Country radars in 2020, something's gone wrong.
3 JARROD HALL (Forbes Platypi)
Has been among the premier hookers in the Blowes Clothing Cup for some time and proved why once again.
Barnstorming with ball in hand, he crossed the stripe plenty of times this year and continued his role as a part-time goal-kicker as well, which is a big reason we love the bloke so much.
In his first year as player-coach - alongside Jack Hammond - he looked to have balanced the role well, and we'd expect him to return to the representative scene in 2020 after not playing for Central West this year.
4 PETER FITZSIMMONS (Bathurst Bulldogs)
Captained Bathurst Bulldogs to the Blowes Clothing Cup title and won player-of-the-year to put the icing on a wonderful 2019 season - 'nuff said.
5 DAVID WEIR (Narromine Gorillas)
He did shift between hooker and prop where necessary but that's probably more reason to include him here, versatility's a huge factor in separating the good front-rowers from the great.
Had the likes of John Ellis and Charlie Tuck either side of him regularly which makes a hooker's job slightly easier, but in any successful set-piece the No.2 must absorb plenty of pressure and Weir did that magnificently for the Gorillas.
