Firefighters from the Narromine Fire and Rescue squad have raised $4500 to help tackle a devastating disease.

The crew hosted a trivia and karaoke night on Saturday, September 21 to help support retained firefighters Lynden Davis and Tony Coen as they prepare to climb Sydney Tower raising money for motor neuron disease.
The crew said it was a fantastic evening and offered a number of prizes from over 30 businesses in Narromine, including 32 bags of dog food which was donated by a business from the region.
Station commander, captain Ewen Jones said along with the Bunnings barbecue and cash donations the team have raised $5400 with plenty more to come.
"[It's] not bad during this horrible drought," he said.
"Jason Hartin also did a fantastic job as our auctioneer."
The crew thanked all that helped on the evening, especially Pete, Bob Tresseder, Bob D, Lynden, Lucas, Tammy, Skye, Jason Hartin, Andrew Pearce and the Aero Club.
