The brigade were at the Mungery races on the October long weekend hosting a barbecue to help support retained firefighters Lynden Davis and Tony Coen as they prepare to climb Sydney Tower for motor neuron disease.
On November 9 the duo will be attempting to climb the 98 storeys in their full structural firefighting gear, while wearing a breathing apparatus, adding an extra 20 kilograms onto his weight.
So far the team have reached almost $6500 through their fundraising efforts.
People can still throw their support behind the cause by visiting the Narromine FRNSW Facebook page.
