The children's pool in Narromine will be out of use for the start of summer while the new splash pad and learn-to-swim pool are constructed. Narromine Shire Council received $300,000 from the NSW government to build a learn-to-swim pool.
"It will allow both kids swimming programs, hydrotherapy programs aqua aerobics and other programs to be started at the Narromine pool," council's recreational services supervisor Lyndall Smedley said when the funding was announced.

The Narromine pool will be open on Monday to Friday from 1pm until 6pm and from 10am until 6pm on weekends. Season ticket holders will also be able to use he pool between 6am and 8am on weekdays.
In Trangie the pool will be open from 3pm until 6pm on weekdays and from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
At both pools it will be $4 for single entry into the pool, $3.50 for students and $2.50 for non-swimming admission. A joint pool season ticket will be $215 for families with two adults and two children under the age of 18-years-old with another $15.50 per additional person.
A single season ticket will be $110 per person.
