NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and Deputy Premier John Barilaro called in to EweTwo on Dandaloo in Trangie as they made their way to the cabinet meeting in Bourke.
"I would never have been able to buy this stuff in Sydney, it's stuff that I can only find here in Trangie, so thank you and let's encourage everyone to buy regional - especially for Christmas," Ms Berejiklian said on Sunday.
Member for Dubbo Dugald Saunders was also shopping up a storm.
"My pockets weren't quite as deep as the Premier, I didn't buy any shoes which I think both the Premier and the Deputy Premier bought shoes. The Deputy Premier for his daughter, as opposed for himself, they were a lovely red sparkly pair," he said.

"But I did get a couple of things as well including some, well I can't actually say too much because I don't want to give away what I got for certain people, but I did get a big welcome sign and a lovely print as well.
Mr Saunders said it was good to see government leading by example to highlight how important campaigns, Buy From the Bush and Buy Regional, are to drought-stricken communities.
"That was what the idea was to actually connect with a local business who has been through some pretty tough times," he said.
"They've seen sales go down until the buy from the bush campaign started. So it was a really nice way of connecting face-to-face for the shop owner and our leaders of NSW, which was really nice."
