Ms Kirk said the service will operate weekly, offering care for women through the Rural Maternity Service and Dubbo Antenatal Clinic.
"This service will work in partnership with other Health Service's and provide support for women who choose to birth outside of Dubbo," she said.
Women who want to see the Rural Maternity Service in Narromine for their care can contact the midwife on 0437 004 918 to organise an appointment.
The Narromine Multipurpose Service will remain a non-birthing facility through this change in service.
