The annual event will give new residents the opportunity to meet the mayor, community groups, sporting clubs, businesses and get in touch with what is on offer in the Narromine region.
Narromine Shire Council mayor Craig Davies has encouraged any people who are new to the shire to come along to Soul Food Design Depot on Thursday, February 20.
"More than anything it's a great opportunity for us to meet them and just to help them settle in, and if we can help direct them in any way, shape or form," he said.

Cr Davies said Narromine is expected to grow rapidly in the next five years, and its important that new residents feel welcome in the region and understand the opportunities that are available.
"In five years time, Inland rail will be happening, we expect there could be almost 300 jobs at the freight hub," he said.
"We've also got other opportunities that we are pursuing right at this moment that could add another 150 to 200 jobs, to the tally of positions being created in the shire in the next two or three years.
"It's something that we're focusing on, which is further developing the shire and its going to take a lot of people to come to the town to fill these roles."
The event will be at Soul Food Design and Depot in Narromine from 6pm.
For catering purposes people are asked to RSVP to the council by Monday, February 17.
To register for the event, contact Council on 6889 9999 or email mail@narromine.nsw.gov.au .
