A 23-year-old man has been charged following a police pursuit in Narromine last week.

About 11.20pm on Thursday, February 6, officers from the Orana Mid-Western Police district were patrolling Narromine CBD, when they saw a Ford Falcon travelling on Burraway Street.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle after checks revealed it was displaying plates that belonged to another vehicle.
The driver failed to stop and a pursuit was initiated, travelling through several streets and properties in Narromine.

Police deployed road spikes and the Ford came to a stop on an Old Backwater Road property.
The driver and passenger fled on foot and were arrested after a short pursuit by foot.
Both were taken to Dubbo Police Station.
The driver, a 23-year-old man was charged with police pursuit driving dangerously, the use of unregistered motor vehicle on road, not displaying authorised number-plates, destroy or damage property, and drive motor vehicle during disqualification period.
He appeared at Dubbo Local Court on Friday, February 7 where he was formally refused bail to appear at the same court on Wednesday, February 12.
The passenger, a 29-year-old woman was released following further inquiries.
