The free program is for people 65-years-old and over and includes practical exercises to improve strength and balance and covers a range of topics and sessions with local health professionals and guest speakers.
The aim of the program is to reduce falls, increase confidence and give people the tools to remain active, safe and independent within their community.
The group-based sessions run for two hours a week for seven weeks.

Coordinator Jodie Inder said the program is a unique, research-based and proven guide to improve overall health, wellbeing and physical strength, whilst creating new social connections and companionship.
"[This is] really important because especially as you get older there's a lot more medical conditions or health conditions that start to pile up," she said.
"It's important to try and live as healthy as possible, stay active and look out for ourselves as best we can.
"By working on preventing falls, we're hoping to give people that extra quality of life."
The exercise physiologist and nutritionist at Empower in Trangie said anyone who is 65-years-old or above who may have had a fall or are concerned about falling should join.
"Unfortunately some people are nervous about getting into that sort of setting, or may have never done something like this before, or have had a negative experience," Ms Inder said.
"But there's a great social aspect to it.
"I'd encourage people to just come along for the social event and you might learn a few tips and tricks along the way."
The program begins Thursday, February 27 from 10am until 12pm, and will run weekly until April.
The program will be hosted at the Empower Clinic at 35 Derribong Street.
Please contact Ms Inder on 0447 294 721 for appointment for assessment and booking in prior to clinic. Numbers are limited.
