Funded by Phillip Group, these grants were awarded to Anna Terry, currently a year 12 student at Calrossy in Tamworth, Amelia Janhsen a student at St John's Primary School and Kestrel Ebbsworth, a former student of Trangie Central School now at school in Dubbo.
Each year various groups within the CWA make available a series of education grants to help rural students with the cost of education.
These grants are accessible by application and forms are available from the local CWA branch.
The recipients were presented with their certificates by Trangie branch president Pat Riley at afternoon tea following the recent monthly meeting.
Trangie branch of CWA meets at 2pm on the second Thursday of every month. New members are always welcome.
