Finland, Sweden 'optimistic' on NATO bid

Finland's President Sauli Niinisto and Swedish PM Magdalena Andersson think Turkey can be assuaged.

Finland and Sweden have voiced optimism that common ground can be found with Turkey over its objections to them joining NATO amid a flurry of diplomatic activity aimed at smoothing their path into the 30-country military alliance.
