It is an exciting year for the campdraft group as the arena has undertaken major renovations to make it one of the best in the state.
This campdraft is one of the first to be held in the central west due to the dry conditions around the State.
The campdraft starts today and will continue through until Sunday.
To celebrate Anzac Day there will be a minute's silence and The Last Post will be played.
Campdraft president Simon McCutcheon believes it is a great way to spend Anzac Day as the competition replicates authentic Australian horse and cattle work.
It is expected there will 1400 head of cattle and over 300 competitors at the event.
Mr McCutcheon said it's a great family event with something for everyone.
Spectators are welcome to campdraft, and if anyone is interested in the sport they're welcome to speak to one of the campdrafters throughout the weekend.
